Guide about words that are painful but still used a lot in the museum world. I am really fascinated by the langue of our history and the history of our langue, this might gonna be the subject of my essay.

Not something that's inspiring but something that leaves me with a lot of ethical questions. Rotterdam's well know comedian Martin van Waardenberg has made a 6 episode series about a campsite in the Rotterdam harbour witch contains a lot of racist humour. One of my friends brought this up a few weeks ago and we watched it with a number of people. We are were laughing, not about the jokes but about the shame of how it's possible that this was shown on national television only in 2007.
I keep wondering where the line between satire and pain lays when we are trying to use humour to talk about topics that might be difficult to people.

From The Cartographer Tries to Map a Way to Zion II (Teana's class)
Our project.

As you can see, my personal focus on healing was based on using the right world to make life less painful. My team mates weren't busy. with that at all but in the end we found a common ground.
I did add some questions about painful words on the cards in the boardgame to make other people think about my research.

Together with the healing group, we believed that one of the most important parts of healing is being able to share your thoughts with others. So we came up with a board game with questions, statements, actions and goals to get a clear view of your thoughts and fears and be able to share them with others.

What I like most about the game is the fact there is no winner and it's all about the journey, I believe more things in life should be like that.
We used the minor theory as inspiration for a lot of the cards used in the game. Underneath this text, I will post some of my favourite cards.
